Please excuse me as I hyperventillate in anticipation.

  1. I guess you're excited with the children's books part, no? Haha.

  2. @ Vajarl: Anvil also publishes some local contemporary writers. It's not only the children's books I'm excited about, for sure. hehe

@ Poot: Really is cool! I love rummaging through book sales. I once did it along Recto, it was exciting!

@ Angel: So you'd be back in the Philippines for Christmas?

  3. @ Random Student: Yeah, may P2.00 books daw, if the poster is truthful enough. Pero I don't trust the quality of those books. hehe

  4. You enjoyed recto? The last time I was there I was so paranoid that someone would slit my throat that I wasn't even able to really look for the textbooks I needed then. Hahaha.

  5. @ Vajarl: With Recto, and Divisoria, you have to internalize the part before going there. If you enter the teritory looking like some lost lamb, you will surely be eaten by the wolves.

Just look straight ahead of you, keep your ears open, and put your wallet on your front pocket. :-)

  8. @Poot: Haha, siguro nga yung mga maninipis na pamplets yung tigalawang piso, o kaya yung sobrang dillapidated na mga libro na wala nang cover.

A, okay, sa Wednesday pa pala ang start ng klase, kaya pwede pang mag-inuman on a Monday. hehe

  9. Yep, actually I am back. Hehe. :D

  10. @ Wait: Yeah, mura talaga ng books. Pero the books' condition would have to be seen.

@ Angel: Wow! You're back na? Welcome back, I think. (halatang hindi nagbabasa ng blog ng iba.) hehe

  13. Naalala ko sa 2php na books eh baka yung parang libre sa Nido na fairy tale stories. Haha. Nung bata ako kinolekta ko yun eh. Haha :D

  14. Haha! Parang naaalala ko pa yung mga yun! Hindi ko sila nakumpleto, kasi at that time, hindi na ako maki-gatas. I remember I used to liberate those pamphlets from the nido cans sa grocery. hahaha!

  15. Fully Booked is also having a sale; you might be interested. ;)

  16. @ Andy: Can I have details for the Fully Booked gig? I'm an info-nympho for these things. hehe

  17. The one in Eastwood Mall would last for three days. I think it started Friday and would end today. Up to 20% discount, man! Go na; now na! Hehe.

  18. @ Andy: Eastwood?! Cripes, ang layo! I'll start with Greenbelt 5 mona, then High Street. But I don't think I can make it to Eastwood. Commuting there takes the fun out of travelling. I used to do that a couple of years back, commuting to Libis from Makati, I mean.

  19. Liberate. Can't think of a better way to put that. Haha. :) Gatas boy pa ko nung mga panahon na yon at hindi pa ata ako sinasama sa grocery, pero kung sakali, baka hindi lang pagliberate ang ginawa ko sa mga story booklets na yun. Hahahaha.

  20. @ Vajarl: Yup, liberate. No other way to describe my past actions. I liberated a few other things from groceries during that period, but let's not delve too deeply into the details. haha

@ Andy: Mukhang sa Eastwood lang talaga ang sale. Not so much as a whiff of a sale on either Greenbelt or High Street. Come to think of it, I was at Gateway last Saturday, and there wasn't a sale there either. Maybe it's and Eastwood Mall thing, to generate more customers.

  21. Yeah, I think so too. When I went there last Friday, they offered me a hardbound copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies with a 20% discount. Very tempting, hehe.
